Pembroke

The back deck is a semi traditional design, with two sets of doors, making it an ideal boat for families with smaller crew members and those of you wanting to include your dog in your holiday. There are seats on both sides allowing space to sit comfortably and keep the helmsman company.
The back doors open into the kitchen, equipped with large cooker, sink, fridge/freezer, and ample storage for all those goodies you will want to bring with you. As with all our boats the kitchen is well equipped so that cooking on board is fun and not a chore.

Following on from the kitchen is the lounge /dining area with a comfortable settee from which you can watch TV or settle down to watch a DVD, or just sit back and listen to music after a busy days cruising. This area is also the dining area where you can sit enjoy a meal together and laugh about the days experiences. Table is big enough for board games to be played always a great way to spend an evening with friends or family.

Central heating is fitted throughout the boat, so you will feel warm and comfortable no matter what is happening with the great British weather outside, or what time of year you decide to explore the South Oxford Canal. The settee will also make into a comfortable double bed if required with storage under it for bedding and belongings.

Moving through the boat you will find the first of two toilets, both are electric flush toilets very much as you would find at home. Through the next door is the first of the two sleeping cabin, this one has a double bed plenty of storage and a side hatch so you can bring the outside in. All of our beds are very comfortable, not too soft and not too hard, all beds will be made up prior to your arrival and too your request, with duvets and two pillows each.

Between the two bedrooms, so it can be accessed from both bed rooms, is the bathroom. We have installed it to fill the full width of the boat giving lots of space. This larger bathroom has enabled us to put a luxurious shower in it as well as toilet and washbasin with storage for all the necessary items. Not many hire boats will give you a bathroom like this one.

Finally you enter the second bedroom, as with all our boats this room gives you choices it can be two single beds, one on each side of the boat, or a fixed double bed. The bedroom has a wardrobe with half hanging and shelves. In it there is a television, making it a great space for the younger members or teenagers who have a different bedtime than perhaps the older crew and certainly a different getting up time!!!! .

The boat has a 240volt invertor which will allow you to use a hair dryer, and charge phones, laptops, you will find sockets and usb ports in all rooms.

The centre front hardwood doors take you out on to a large front deck, with table and chairs so you can sit back, relax and admire the great British countryside. The front deck is also ideal for alfresco dining on a balmy summers evening.

In conclusion Pembroke is a fabulous boat and a great choice.
