At College Cruisers, we understand the bond between pet owners and their furry companions. When planning a well-deserved holiday, leaving them behind or entrusting them to strangers in kennels/cattery isn't ideal – you want them by your side. But don't take it from us, take it from our very own border collie 'Bob' (he'll likely be the first one you meet when you arrive at the boatyard): "Hey there, humans! So, you're planning a getaway, huh? Well, listen up because I've got some paws-itively awesome news for you! At College Cruisers, they totally get it – leaving us furry friends behind when you go on vacation just doesn't cut the mustard. We want to be part of the action too!
Picture this: cruising down the canal with your trusty pooch by your side. It's a dog's dream come true! And let me tell you, I've had my fair share of adventures on those boats. From keeping swans in check to herding cows (hey, someone's gotta keep 'em in line!), there's never a dull moment. Sure, the boats are dog-friendly, but let's not forget about our other pals who've joined the party – cats, birds, even a tortoise and a parrot! We're like one big happy family cruising through the countryside. And don't even get me started on the walks along the Oxford Canal. It's like a buffet of smells – each one more tantalizing than the last! Plus, I get to show off my skills at the locks and maybe score a treat or two for being such a good boy. So, humans, if you want to make your holiday the cat's pajamas (I wanted to say the dogs dinner but apparently that's a bad thing?), then bring us along for the ride. Trust me, we'll make it a tail-wagging good time!"

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
For a small extra charge, your pet can join your family on holiday – much better than being sent to the kennels! All we ask is £35.00
YOUR PETS SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY
We are just as conscious of their safety as we are of yours, so we can provide dog life jackets. We suggest that you make sure they have your mobile telephone number on their collar and ours (01865 554343) just in case they become separated from you and the boat. We ask you to bring poo bags, and bedding for your pet so they are comfortable at night, and when you leave no paw marks left behind please!
If you have any concerns or questions about bringing your pets with you, please do call us to discuss. We have had many canal holidays with our dogs so can advise on most situations.
