Exiting this cabin, you move into the first of two bathrooms, containing a shower, wash basin and flush toilet. This walkthrough bathroom is the full width of the boat giving ample space. You then move into the second bedroom, again with plenty of storage for clothes, which can be arranged to have a double bed or two single beds. The second bathroom follows along the corridor, with a spacious shower, wash basin and a flush toilet. Both showers are fitted with shower doors and storage for all the bathroom bits.
You then enter the living section of the boat which is fitted with a large four burner stove, good size fridge with a freezer compartment and ample work surface. All our kitchens are very well equipped so cooking on board is not a chore but part of the fun of spending time on your boat. Our kitchens have lots of storage for all the food that always goes along with you, and Balliol’s new kitchen is no exception. We have also included a small breakfast bar at which you can sit and eat or just relax and watch the chef of the day create dinner.
The lounge area is fitted with an L shaped sofa, which can be made up into a comfortable double bed. The lounge has large windows so you can sit inside and still enjoy the passing countryside. A large dining table is supplied around which you can all eat, or a small table on which to rest a gin and tonic and a few nibbles .The TV is located on the wall and has a radio and DVD player included Finally you exit the boat on to a front deck where you sit in comfort and peace while enjoying the oxford countryside drift past you.
Each cabin has a door to ensure privacy at night and both bathrooms can be accessed without entering other people’s cabins if you need the use of bathrooms during the night. The boat is fitted with a diesel central heating system making it very warm and cosy even on chilly spring or winter evenings. Also included is a 240 volt system so charging phones and laptops is not an issue. The wall sockets also have USB ports again making it straight forward to charge electrical appliances.
All the beds are very comfortable and will be made up prior to your arrival with your chosen layout.
